Milan Design Week 2023

It all began with a desire to breathe new life into existing objects.

Our first project was to reinvent an old chair. Through meticulous pattern-making and tufting, we covered it to give it a second life, truly wrapping it in a new skin. By using wool scraps from previous projects, we developed a unique pattern, further reinforcing our commitment to material reuse.

Thanks to this chair and its matching rug, we were invited by Isola Design to participate in the "Tools and Craft" exhibition at Milan Design Week 2023.

Driven by this momentum, we continued our research and efforts to enrich the collection by designing a bedside table and an armchair, both also made from reclaimed materials. Creating our own forms allowed us to further explore ideas around material upcycling.

Recently, the Doucette collection was presented at Eindhoven Design Week, where we were exhibited in Piet Hein Eek's space.
